FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

 

1. How long will it take to process my order?

We take 1-2 business days to process. Expedited orders placed by 9am PST will be shipped that day. Orders placed after 9am PST on Fridays will ship the following Monday. Keep in mind, we don't ship on Saturday or Sunday. (We're not a 24-hour automated fulfillment center, but we're good people.)

2. Can you tell me delivery times for each shipping method?

  • USPS Priority Mail (within USA): 4-6 days
  • UPS Ground (USA only):  5 business days
  • UPS 2nd Day Air (USA only): 2-3 business days
  • USPS Priority Mail International: 6-10 days
  • USPS First Class International: 8-20 days --- Please note when choosing this option, once your order has left the USA, it is no longer trackable with the US Postal Service tracking sent to you. 

Note, UPS does not deliver on Saturday or Sunday.

3. How much do international orders cost?

It's complicated, because recipients of an international shipment are subject to duties and taxes, which are levied only when it reaches your country. Additional charges for customs clearance also have to be handled by the recipient, since we have no control over them and can't even predict what the hell they'll be. For more detail on all this, you may want to check in with your local customs office. Keep in mind, we don't refund customs, duties or taxes associated with international returns.

4. Do you ship to PO Boxes?

Sure thing. It just has to go via USPS instead of UPS – choose USPS Priority as your shipping option and you'll be good to go. 

5. Do you ship to FPO/APO addresses?

We do but only to the types of FPO and APO addresses listed below. Scan through, if your FPO/APO looks similar, you'll be good, If not, you're better off shipping to a U.S. address.

6. How do I reset my password?

7. How do I track my order?

We'll email you the tracking number when we ship. Just allow 24 hours before tracking your order.

8. What if a price has dropped after I purchased an item?

You're out of luck. But don't worry, what goes around, comes around. Trust us, at some point you'll end up buying something right after we've lowered the price.

9. What about lost or stolen merchandise?

We HATE it when this happens. Once we were flying to Berlin and our luggage got lost for 6 days and we didn't get it back until we were already home. But like most businesses, Sailor Jerry Clothing can't be responsible for lost or stolen merchandise.

10. I just bought some Sailor Jerry glassware- can I wash these in a dishwasher?  

Hand wash 'em — you'll be better off. 

11. Sailor Jerry fits in with my store? How do I go about selling this stuff?
