The Flash Collection is a series of annual collaborations between Sailor Jerry and like minded creatives, inspired by the legendary tattoo flash of Norman 'Sailor Jerry' Collins.

We've started off with one of our heroes: international artist, style icon and musician Paul Simonon.

Simonon combined Norman Collins’ iconic flash artwork with his own signature design style to create four limited edition pieces – a leather jacket, two t-shirts and a bandana.

Paul chose a Lewis Leathers "Lightning" jacket as the basis of his design for The Flash Collection – the very same style he wore back during his days in The Clash. Each jacket is made from genuine sheep leather and has been hand distressed for a vintage feel. Paul personally selected and stowed his own stash of metal badges in the pockets, so you can customize your jacket however you want.

There are only 50 jackets available in the world and each comes labeled with its unique limited edition number. You can find them at the following retailers or shop here.

Lewis Leathers – London, United Kingdom
Lewis Leathers – Tokyo, Japan
TRIco – Los Angeles, United States
Midwest Trader – Adelaide, Australia
SOTO – Berlin, Germany

We've made 500 top grade cotton tees featuring two of Paul's unique designs – a mermaid perched atop a Sailor Jerry anchor and the skull and crossbones artwork from the leather jacket. There are only 250 available in each design, so when they sell out, that's that. To make it absolutely clear how limited edition these shirts are, each comes marked with its unique number as part of the collection.

Bandanas are a big part of Paul's personal style – he pretty much always has one on him somewhere. This one features his art of a hula girl playing a ukulele (one of his favorite instruments), as inspired by Sailor Jerry's flash. Only 1,000 of them available.
